Oxford 중심에 위치한 카펙스 타워는 옥스포드에서 가장 눈에 띄는 랜드마크 중 하나.
이 타워는 원래 자리에 있던 성마틴 교회를 철거하면서 교회의 탑만 남겨졌다 한다.
이 탑의 외벽에는 성마틴 교회의 시계를 본떠 만든 아름다운 시계가 걸려있는데
이 시계는 15분마다 Quarter Boy라는 이름의 인형이 종을 친다.
